About The Position

The Time Limited Parts Control Auditor is responsible for auditing maintenance, repair, overhaul, and inspection information for life limited and hard time parts to ensure accurate tracking in the Maintenance Software Database (Ramco) and compliance with the Maintenance Time Limits Manual (MTLM). This role involves ensuring the completeness and accuracy of life-limited component information, performing back-to-birth audits, and identifying tracking problems or errors through audits. The auditor will also perform historical audits on fan blades, update engine fan blade configurations, and communicate with repair providers as necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One year of related records auditing or other problem-solving relatable work experience.
  • Ability to navigate between multiple systems and applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent in Aviation field (management, operations, maintenance, A&P).
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the completeness and accuracy of life-limited component information (AirVault and Ramco) by performing back-to-birth audits.
  • Ensures components requiring overhaul are tracking the correct last done/next due values in accordance with the MTLM/MPD.
  • Identifies tracking problems or errors through audits and takes necessary actions to resolve the problem.
  • Performs historical audits on fan blades to ensure compliance with the eddy current inspections required by AD2017-17-18.
  • Audits eddy current inspection paperwork for correctness and completeness.
  • Updates engine fan blade configuration following the remapping/shuffling of blades.
  • Audits engine logbook/records and landing gear records following the removal of an engine or landing gear prior to being sent for repair.
  • Performs audits upon the return of the engine or landing gear from repair to ensure proper documentation.
  • Updates APU tracking information including life limited parts in the records database and maintenance software database.
  • Installs all A/C piece parts and updates parameter values as part of the acquisition process.
  • Communicates/interacts with repair providers to exchange or update information relating to components or work.
