About The Position

The position involves ensuring adherence to safety protocols throughout the plant, particularly in the Glaze Line areas. The role is crucial in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment while following the Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001 for all finishing operations. The individual will perform necessary LTT audits and assist in delivering weekly safety training materials. Additionally, the position requires ensuring that product specifications are followed throughout the Glazing department and reviewing box samples and pre-production tests with the Supervisor. The role also includes assisting the Glaze Line Supervisor in coordinating glaze line operations and training new hires on safety, quality policy, management systems, and the operation of glazing equipment and product knowledge. Furthermore, the individual will work with the maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs, fill in and relieve responsibilities for all glazing job functions, perform adjustments to rotocolor, digital machines, and airless cabins to ensure correct production, and assist in color and production changes. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered to.
• Helps to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for Glaze Line areas.
• Follows the Quality Management System, certified to ISO 9001 for all finishing operations.

• Ensures product specifications are followed throughout the Glazing department.
• Responsible for reviewing box samples and pre-production tests with Supervisor.
• Assist the Glaze Line Supervisor in coordinating the operations of glaze line operations.

• Responsible for working with maintenance team to develop and sustain operator basic care programs.
• Fill-in and relief responsibility for all glazing job functions.

• Assists in color and production changes.
• Completes other tasks as needed.
