As part of our E-commerce Governance and Experience team, we are responsible for ensuring that our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for users, sellers, and creators alike. We are looking for an experienced technical product manager to drive creator governance product strategies and solutions for TikTok Shopping in North America. This role is crucial in developing policies, rules, and systems that ensure quality and user satisfaction in our marketplace. In this position, you will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, operations, product policy teams, and other relevant internal teams to build safety product features and strategies. You will focus on governance and ecosystem features, technical strategies to enhance TikTok shopping, and methods to detect and address risky behaviors and actors within the TikTok E-commerce ecosystem. Your leadership will be vital in shaping the product vision and strategy for the listing governance vertical, ensuring that we maintain a safe and engaging environment for our creators and users. You will be responsible for creating metrics to gauge feature success, analyzing outcomes, and collaborating cross-functionally to devise action plans and enhancement proposals. This role requires you to drive complex projects independently, define creator eligibility and risk product strategies, and work closely with engineering teams to implement product solutions. You will also prepare product requirements documents and recommendations, utilizing prototypes and wireframes based on a deep understanding of creator experience and data points. Partnering with Policy and Operations teams will be essential to create and build product features that enable creators for e-commerce while reducing associated risks.
