About The Position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. As part of our E-commerce Governance and Experience team, we are looking for an experienced technical product manager to drive creator governance product strategies and solutions for TikTok Shopping in North America. This role is crucial in ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for users, sellers, and creators alike. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies, and various internal teams to build safety product features and strategies. Your focus will be on governance and ecosystem features, technical strategies to improve TikTok shopping, and methods to detect and address risky behaviors and actors in the TikTok E-commerce ecosystem. In this position, you will own the product vision and develop the product roadmap and strategies for TikTok Shop's intellectual property and anti-counterfeit solutions. You will be responsible for developing product features that detect and mitigate intellectual property rights (IPR) infringement, improving moderation efficiency and accuracy of IPR-related product listings and e-commerce content. You will ensure consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch, driving value-based prioritization of product development initiatives to maximize return on investment. You will also develop comprehensive product plans that incorporate customer needs, define the competitive arena, and establish the objectives, strategies, and actions required to achieve business goals. Close collaboration with UI/UX designers, engineers, quality assurance teams, and cross-functional teams will be essential to drive product design and implementation. Additionally, you will partner with business counterparts in IPR Policy and Ops, Legal and Compliance, and Data Sciences to identify product capabilities required to deliver business goals. Your insights on product performance and seller behavior will help identify and prioritize growth opportunities and improvements, defining product requirements for new features and coordinating development efforts as the product owner. Finally, you will develop metrics to measure the success of product features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.
