About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years managing warehouse or fulfillment-related categories.
• Proven expertise in sourcing and managing material handling equipment (MHE) and eCommerce-related supplies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to the needs of TikTok Shop's eCommerce fulfillment operations.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors specializing in material handling equipment (MHE), packaging materials, and other variable supplies.
• Assess supplier capabilities and ensure alignment with TikTok's operational requirements and growth goals.
• Partner with warehouse operations teams to forecast supply needs and establish inventory benchmarks.
• Collaborate on facility readiness by ensuring timely delivery of critical equipment and supplies.
• Evaluate warehouse vendors for quality, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
• Track and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Conduct periodic market analyses to benchmark pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, focusing on reliability, innovation, and partnership.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations, especially concerning warehousing and eCommerce standards.
• Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks to avoid disruptions.
