About The Position

We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our busy fabrication shop in Jacksonville. This role is hands-on and requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work from detailed prints and job specifications. Projects range from small custom parts to larger industrial builds across a variety of industries, including aerospace, railroad, construction, and medical.

Requirements

• Welding hood, garments/gloves, and steel-toe boots
• Basic hand tools such as calipers, Allen wrenches, and crescent wrenches
• Jeans or durable work pants
• Dependable, detail-oriented welder with pride in your craft and a willingness to learn
• Willing to submit to a drug test and background check

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a brake press and shear ( training available for the right candidate )

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG welds on stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys
• Fit, prep, and fabricate parts using blueprints, weld symbols, and measurements
• Accurately use a tape measure and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Set up workpieces, fixtures, and welding equipment
• Inspect welds and finished assemblies for quality and accuracy
• Perform grinding, drilling, cutting, and general fabrication tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Assist with additional fabrication or machining steps as needed
