About The Position

Enjet Aero machines and fabricates complex jet engine parts, components and assemblies for leading OEMs in the commercial, defense and general aviation sectors. Position Description: The TIG welder is responsible for producing aerospace parts via TIG welding processes. This position requires experience, and you must demonstrate your ability to weld during the interview process. The position is for WEEKEND shift - Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; working 36 hours and receiving a 4 hour bonus, totaling 40 hours, also includes a 25% shift differential. Must be available to train on 1st shift.

Requirements

5 years’ experience aerospace welding metals including Inconel, Stainless Steel and Titanium
High school diploma or GED required
Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Weld using TIG equipment
Deburr parts using hand held tools
Cleaning and washing parts to remove manufacturing oils, dirt and debris
Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations
Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.
Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
Monitor and document operational and performance issues and provide feedback to supervisor
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff
Other duties as directed by supervisor
