About The Position
Custom Marine is Growing! We currently have an opportunity for a 1st shift TIG Welder/ Fabricator to work in our Neenah, WI facility. Custom Marine is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered original equipment and aftermarket stainless steel exhaust headers, exhaust pipes, mufflers, and other marine and industrial components. Responsibilities
- Experience TIG Welding Stainless Steel, Aluminum and other metals to deliver a quality weld that is also aesthetically pleasing.
- Ability to “Walk the Cup” and be familiar with using hard automation such as plasma weld-around.
- Fabricate and assemble components and parts - Measure, cut, grind and shape components using varies tools.
- Ability to read, understand and work from blueprints, layouts, and other types of work orders/instructions.
- Ability to follow Quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Meet and maintain quality and performance expectations, including productivity, efficiency, and time management, all while maintaining a high-level attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management.
- Other duties may be assigned to accommodate the needs of the company and/or shop
