About The Position

We are seeking a skilled TIG Aluminum Welder to join our well-established company, which has been in operation for over 60 years. This is a full-time permanent position with a contract-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding T joints on a bench using thin 16-gauge aluminum. The position requires passing a weld test to demonstrate proficiency in this area.

Requirements

• Must have experience with TIG welding, specifically with aluminum.
• Ability to pass a 16-gauge weld test.
• Must have own gloves, hood, and necessary PPE.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as required by the job.

Responsibilities

• Weld T joints on a bench using thin 16-gauge aluminum.
• Pass a weld test to qualify for the position.
• Maintain safety standards by using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and a hood.
• Perform physical tasks including sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling as required.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. throughout the shift.
