About The Position

Join ECAM SECURE as a Tier III Field Service Technician and Lead the Charge in Cutting-Edge Surveillance Technology! ECAMSECURE (a GardaWorld Company), the leader in outdoor video surveillance, seeks a proactive Tier III Field Service Technician. Based in Portland, OR, you'll design, install, service, test, and maintain Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs), CCTV, alarms, and related equipment. Ensure MSUs and sites are in top condition, conduct weekly maintenance, collaborate on projects, assist with site surveys, update branch staff, prepare reports, stay current on technologies, manage inventory, and build client relationships. This person will act as lead technician. This position is critical to the success of our Field Operations team and will work cross-functionally with internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure the delivery of timely, high-quality service and system uptime. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Requirements

  • High School or GED required.
  • Five plus years' experience in the execution of large, complex IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Intrusion Systems in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Proficient in computer networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Gateways, routers, and switches.
  • Proficient in the use and applications of Access Control and Video Servers.
  • Proficient in deployment of large, complex IP Video Surveillance Systems.
  • Working knowledge of electronic and digital test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and digital cable analyzers.
  • Basic understanding of Network concepts and architecture.
  • Extended knowledge of DOS and Windows.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/system programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.
  • Ability to work overtime, alternate shifts, weekends, and take on call to meet customer requirements.
  • A+ Certification and Microsoft Certification a plus.
  • Must be able to maintain all licenses required by national, state, and local codes.

  • Comfortable working at heights and in physically active roles.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, staying alert for long periods, and managing tools and equipment with dexterity.
