About The Position

Key Responsibilities Hardware Deployment: Imaging, configuring, and deploying new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Data Migration: Migrating user data, profiles, and settings from old hardware to new equipment. Peripheral Setup: Installing and configuring peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, printers, and scanners. Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues during the migration process. Asset Management: Updating hardware inventories, documenting equipment deployment, and ensuring old assets are returned for disposal or refurbishment. Site Support: Traveling to different office locations or job sites to perform on-site, in-person support.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ years in an IT Field Technician, Service Desk, or similar role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and PC hardware components.
  • Imaging Tools: Experience with imaging software to push standard company loads to new computers.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot basic network connectivity (LAN/WAN).
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical requirements of the job, such as moving, lifting, and setting up equipment.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and effective communication, as the role involves working with non-technical employees.
