Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in the field of computers is required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years working in IT support is required
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows based client operating systems.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
  • Experience with windows networking and/or a CompTIA Networking+ certification is preferred by not required.
  • Working knowledge of the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model
  • Ability to diagnose problems, perform repairs on IT assets, and provide support for a wide range of applications.
  • Knowledge of Virtual Server Infrastructure Systems (Hyper-V and Citrix)
  • SharePoint administration experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and troubleshooting of complicated issues on the Helpdesk.
  • Provide high level customer services consistent with IT best practices.
  • Assist with end user system deployments and upgrades.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop documentation for new and existing workflows.
  • Assist with testing new software, service packs, and patches.
  • Occasional travel may be required as needed.
