About The Position

The Ticketing & Fundraising Specialist at the University of Kansas is responsible for driving revenue through ticket sales and donations for Kansas Athletics. This role involves engaging with existing donors and ticket holders, identifying new prospects, and building strong relationships to enhance the fan experience. The specialist will work closely with the Director of Sales, Service, & Retention to meet ambitious sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the athletics program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years of sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional image and positive attitude.
• Experience using Salesforce CRM for client management.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and influence C-level clients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in sports ticket sales or fundraising.
• Familiarity with collegiate athletics.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and meet sales goals for season, group, premium ticket, donation, and hospitality packages.
• Engage, service, and solicit existing Kansas Athletics donors and ticket holders.
• Identify and manage a portfolio of new prospects and existing donors.
• Effectively use Salesforce CRM to record client and prospect interactions.
• Participate in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
• Promote and generate sales on all events in collaboration with Kansas Athletic Department team members.
• Assist with administrative ticket functions and special projects as assigned.
• Nurture relationships with current donors and prospects through networking events and game day activities.
