About The Position

The position involves providing top-tier service to customers, ensuring a positive and helpful attitude that encourages repeat visits. Employees must adhere to all company policies, procedures, and gaming regulations set by the Gaming Control Board, ensuring full compliance at all times. Familiarity with all betting options is essential, as is engaging in conversations with customers about sports and betting choices. The role also includes addressing customer complaints and disputes, working effectively with team members and management, completing required paperwork, and performing other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency with email, MS Excel, and internet navigation.
  • Minimum of 1 year of cash handling experience in a professional setting.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Ability to obtain a gaming license from the Gaming Control Board and other jurisdictions as necessary.
  • Strong commitment to providing high-level customer service.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Present a polished and professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Responsibility for understanding and adhering to all company and VA Lottery compliance requirements.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
