About The Position

A Loons Ticket Taker will promote and strengthen the Great Lakes Loons brand values of fun, family entertainment, service excellence, and quality in all actions. Serve patrons by showing high standards of guest service at all times thus providing a helpful and friendly environment at stadium entrances. Essential Functions: Applicant must have the ability to multi-task while working at stadium entrances which can include solving any ticketing problems as well as answering general questions regarding Dow Diamond. Candidate will need to have a high level of comfort using electronic handheld devises. A Ticket Taker at Dow Diamond is a front facing customer service role. You will also be asked to monitor incoming and outgoing traffic throughout the game to ensure ballpark integrity and safety. Loon's Expectations: Qualified candidates must be creative, enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and outgoing individuals that truly enjoy having FUN. Must be able to work flexible hours including day, evening, weekend and holiday hours. Ticket Taker shifts vary in length with minimum shift being 2 hours. You will have the responsibility of working safely at all times. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers for tasks such as typing or keying. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to withstand outdoor elements: heat or cold as well as being on your feet for extended periods of time possibly in one spot (minimum of 5+ hours). Elevated noise levels are to be expected. Must be able to do the following: climb stairs and push up to 150 pounds. These physical demands are essential functions of this position.
