About The Position

Mount Peter is a family operated ski resort with a snow tubing area and is known for the great care and pride we take with guests and employees alike. We believe in offering the best customer service and take pride in providing our staff with what they need to succeed and enjoy their job. Job Description : We are looking for reliable and friendly ticket scanners to join our team at Mt Peter Ski Area. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills. As a ticket scanner, you will ensure each guest has proper access to the mountain by scanning each guest ticket/pass while maintaining quick and efficient line management. You will also be required to assist guests with any questions they may have and provide them with information about the resort.

Requirements

Responsible and mature, 16 years of age or older.
Great attitude, positive mindset, and able to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage with guests in a friendly and positive manner.
Scan tickets and ensure that only valid tickets are allowed on the lifts.
Line Management
Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.
Be able to calmly work through conflict, if necessary, be able to diffuse situations if they arise. (Conflict resolution)
Assist guests with any questions they may have and provide them with information about the resort.
Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
