About The Position

The Ticket Counter Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to passengers using customer or charter services. This role involves handling inquiries, completing transactions, and ensuring compliance with FAA and airline regulations while accommodating passengers' needs efficiently and courteously.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs. for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to read and write English; bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Must be available to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a valid Driver's license.
  • Willingness to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels.

Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient, friendly service to all customers.
  • Complete arrangements for accommodating passengers, including preparing itineraries, computing fares, issuing refunds, and checking baggage.
  • Guide passengers safely from the terminal to the aircraft.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, airline, and airport regulations.
  • Process customer tickets, check baggage, and monitor carry-on baggage for size and quantity.
  • Provide information on arrival and departure times, boarding procedures, and seating arrangements.
