About The Position

As a Senior Estimator, you will play a critical role in driving preconstruction efforts for marine and heavy civil projects, with a focus on opportunities throughout Florida. You'll lead estimates for complex projects up to $100 million, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape winning strategies for pursuits in the marine sector. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 7-10 years of estimating experience, with at least 3-5 years as a lead estimator.
• Experience with marine, heavy civil, and EPC projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of conceptual, hard bid, and self-perform estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estimating software (e.g., Hard Dollar, On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, MC2).
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage estimates for large, complex marine and heavy civil projects.
• Interpret and analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Conduct site investigations and develop construction plans to inform estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Provide conceptual and detailed estimates, including self-perform work.
• Collaborate with design teams and provide preconstruction services.
• Prepare and review proposals, cost breakdowns, and supporting documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends, equipment, and construction methods.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators and contribute to team development.
• Support design management and coordination during preconstruction.
• Assist in developing and refining estimating procedures and historical cost databases.
• Participate in group photo documentation and candid moment capture (if applicable to project events).
