Primary Purpose: To provide high-quality assessment, data analysis, and instructional support to districts by translating student performance data into actionable instructional plans. This role supports both Curriculum & Instruction and the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) by serving as the district expert on student growth measures, assessment platforms, and local assessment design. The Assessment Education Specialist works directly with teachers and campus leaders to strengthen data literacy, improve instructional decision-making, and ensure alignment between assessments, TEKS, and statewide growth expectations.
