About The Position
The mission of this position is to remove surface and subsurface defects from castings in order to meet customer specifications. The principal accountabilities include grinding, inspection, completing logs and records, providing work direction and training to junior-level grinders, and ensuring safety in the workplace. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment when necessary. Training is provided on the job, and candidates may be required to complete hazardous waste management training.
