About The Position

The Salvation Army is seeking a Thrift Store Associate to join our team. This part-time position requires a commitment of 25 hours per week and offers an hourly wage of $15.00. The Thrift Store Associate will be responsible for ensuring that all donated items are sorted and priced in a timely manner, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean and shopper-friendly environment, and providing excellent customer service. The position involves working closely with volunteers and community service workers to ensure efficient operations within the store.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working on a register and in customer service
  • Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Customer service mindset
  • Ability to understand instructions concerning handling and marking of merchandise

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
