The Sales Associate will be responsible to perform a wide variety of duties in the store and the production area. They will maintain order, create and sustain a pleasant and hospitable work environment, and maintain good customer relationships.

Requirements

Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage multiple tasks.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift, carry, and move donations and merchandise as required.
Flexibility to assist across store functions (cashier, sorting, stocking, cleaning).

Responsibilities

Provide courteous, efficient service to all customers and donors.
Assist with daily store operations including cashiering, stocking, sorting, pricing, and sales floor upkeep.
Handle donations with care, ensuring items are sorted, tagged, and placed on the sales floor in proper categories and color order.
Maintain merchandise displays and follow the rag-out calendar to rotate stock.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe, clutter-free store environment.
Follow all cash handling, security, and operational procedures.
Report theft, customer concerns, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
Provide guidance to community service workers and volunteers as directed by the Supervisor.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, or Corps Officer.
