About The Position
Our Mission: Turning Donations into Essentials At ReWrap Thrift , we don't just sell second-hand goods; we provide a lifeline. We give back to the surrounding communities we serve through our parent company, Wraparound Maryland, Inc. 100% of our proceeds go directly toward assisting our participants with essential needs, including: Temporary Shelter Clothing & Household Essentials Utility Assistance & Emergency Support The Role: Thrift Store Associate We are looking for reliable, community-minded volunteers to help our store succeed so we can continue supporting those in need. Because our participants rely on the funds generated here, your attendance and dedication are vital.
Requirements
- Commit to a regular schedule during our operating days ( Wednesday–Saturday ).
- Stand for a good part of their work day while assisting customers and sorting.
- Perform light lifting (up to 40 lbs ) for moving bins and donations.
- Bring a friendly, empathetic, and helpful attitude to the team.
Responsibilities
- Processing & Sorting: Reviewing, cleaning, and tagging incoming donations.
- Merchandising: Keeping the sales floor organized and visually appealing.
- Customer Service: Greeting shoppers and sharing the mission of Wraparound Maryland.
- Store Upkeep: Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our Princess Anne neighbors.
