Job Description: Our Physical Security & Protective Services organization is risk-based and intelligence driven function. Focusing on both external world events and the internal business insights, this role is responsible for collecting, analyzing and drafting intelligence products, helping leaders across the company to make critical decisions associated with the protection of people, assets, supply chains, and reputation, as well as administering the Travel Security program that, in collaboration with the Regional Security Managers and the Global Security & Emergency Command Center, supports HPE's Duty of Care to ensure team members are safe while on business travel. Reporting to the Director of Protective Services, the Threat Intelligence and Travel Security Manager will serve as the subject matter expert on matters related to geopolitical, strategic, tactical, and travel intelligence, safety, and security. The incumbent will research, assess, and produce intelligence documents via OSINT and internal resources in support of HPE's various Business Units and Functions needs. The Threat Intelligence and Travel Security Manager leads a small team of security analysts in the execution of their intelligence collection and assessment responsibilities, applying HPE's traveler duty of care responsibilities, as well as ensuring their ongoing redundancy capabilities in support of general physical security SOC operations. While the Analysts are seasoned physical security SOC operators, their transition to intelligence responsibilities is relatively recent, therefore a key people leader responsibility of the incumbent is the continued training and skill development relative to professional threat intelligence collection, assessment, and dissemination. Manages a team working on the resolution of intelligence and security issues, including threat research, security incident analysis, supporting region security and executive protection monitoring, and/or other proactive protective measures Manages and guides the output of physical security SOC teams working on complex issue resolution and threat research Leads a team to develop intelligence and security issues and responses by leveraging deep industry expertise and a thorough knowledge of physical security, technology, and travel security duty of care Establishes and manages relationships with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts Manages and leads relevant vendor relationships Monitor OSINT, SOCMINT, and internal intelligence resources for known and potential threats to Team Member safety, company security, business operations, or reputation risks Research, comprehend, and disseminate intelligence assessments on a variety of topics, ranging from geopolitical events, global terrorism and insecurity, natural disasters and pandemics, and other concerns related to crime and security in places of interest to HPE's operations, in collaboration with Regional Security Managers and when activated, Crisis Management Teams. Support the Executive Protection team's efforts with identifying, assessing, and monitoring POIs and GOIs that do or may pose a threat Create timely, actionable, and visually compelling intelligence documents that aid leadership's efforts to inform and brief senior executives on critical security events Develop policies and procedures that improve the overall security of HPE Team Members, whether at HPE sites or traveling domestically or abroad Collaborate with HPE's Global Security & Emergency Command Centers while monitoring and communicating about security or crisis incidents worldwide Collect from Regional Security Managers and communicate changes in the travel risk profile of destination countries or risks specific to individual travelers Liaise with HPE Travel and administer third party service providers’ tools that support the program Create and execute on meaningful metrics, KPIs, and OKRs that serve to drive the program and demonstrate value
