About The Position

The Threading Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and leading daily shop-floor operations within the threading department to ensure safety, quality, production efficiency, and employee development. This role oversees frontline execution of management routines, enforces process control parameters, and ensures adherence to corporate and departmental standards. The position plays a critical role in driving operational discipline, supporting continuous improvement activities, and ensuring that daily production commitments are achieved safely and reliably.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position.
  • Working knowledge of threading processes, industrial safety practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to drive accountability and coach frontline employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with OEE, TPM, RCA tools, and Lean methodologies.
  • Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, organizational, and project‑management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Software.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Performance‑driven mindset with a strong bias for action and timely execution of objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or technical/vocational Certification preferred.
  • Training in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM is a plus.
  • Experience in team leadership or lead-operator responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Level 1 meetings, CCLs, and provide coaching on routines.
  • Drive safety performance through UA/UC/Near Miss reporting and enforcement of standards.
  • Monitor reject rate and ensure order traceability.
  • Manage trainee development plans and ensure accuracy of daily production schedules.
  • Execute daily production plans and oversee schedule adherence.
  • Manage down day scope, ticket follow-up, and backlog resolution.
  • Assign daily work, manage operator schedules, and support BC hiring.
  • Implement and enforce process control parameters on the shop floor.
  • Handle non-conforming products and support the quality release process.
  • Ensure safety training completion and ownership of Level 1 safety requirements.
  • Maintain shop floor conditions and compliance with group standards.
  • Manage projects under 70k USD, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule control.
  • Contribute to structuring improvement projects, including SOPs, TPM, 5S, and management routines, and cascade actions to the shop floor.
