About The Position
Performs thread rolling on various materials with different diameters Set up and operate various thread roll machines Check parts to SPC requirements Operate holding five dimensions: major, minor, pitch, radius and run-out length Visually check parts for laps, and acid etch parts Ensure dies match Must be experienced using different materials Must be able to trouble shoot if a machine goes out of tolerance Must be able to use a SPC computer and comparator
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or four years related experience and/or training; Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Able to pass a pre-employment, post-offer physical, drug screen
- Able to pass a background check
