About The Position

The Epic Cadence Analyst III at Texas Health Resources is responsible for the design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of applications and related information technologies. This role serves as a mentor to other analysts and provides consulting services to integrate technology into clinical and business processes, ensuring effective application of industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, clinical discipline, or related field (Preferred).
  • 7 years of relevant work experience without a degree, or 5 years with an Associate's degree, or 3 years with a Bachelor's degree (Required).
  • 5 years of Epic Cadence experience (Highly Preferred).
  • Epic Certification (Required).
  • Epic Cadence Certification (Highly Preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all levels of healthcare client organizations.
  • Highly organized with experience in documentation and workflow design.
  • Knowledge of clinical environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships with clients during implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with documentation, workflow design, and build configuration of area of specialty.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams of all sizes and independently.
  • PC skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and implement applications and related information technologies.
  • Serve as a build mentor to other team analysts on projects and initiatives.
  • Provide consulting services on integrating information technologies into clinical and business processes.
  • Build applications to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows.
  • Communicate with customers, project teams, and vendors regarding business and clinical requirements.
  • Diagnose failures in application software and participate in problem resolution.
  • Quality control of all application implementations/enhancements prior to release.
  • Maintain awareness of vendor and industry developments in areas of responsibility.
