Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an outstanding academic BC/BE Thoracic Surgeon to join the Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, within the Department of Surgery in Temple, TX. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of non-cardiac adult thoracic surgery and expected to contribute to the growth and development of disease-based programs in partnership with the Divisions of Oncology and Pulmonary Medicine. The candidate will also contribute to expanding the depth and breadth of general thoracic surgical services offered while maintaining the highest quality of care. Our team of highly-experienced surgeons and healthcare providers treat a variety of chest disorders, including benign and malignant conditions. Our system utilizes innovative state of the art care and technology, including minimally-invasive techniques, such as video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) and robotic surgery. The Central Texas region is the fastest growing area of the country and has attracted several noteworthy and diverse industries (Meta, Apple and Samsung to name a few) in recent years. The Cardiovascular Surgery program, under new leadership, is experiencing steady growth that is anticipated to continue for the foreseeable future.
