About The Position

Program Overview: Thompson Holdings and Thompson Engineering are pleased to offer a 2026 Collegiate Summer Internship Program designed to provide hands-on, real-world experience for motivated college students. This internship offers exposure to business, engineering, and professional operations while allowing interns to develop practical skills in a collaborative and professional environment. Internship Focus Areas (may include): Engineering support and project assistance Business operations and administrative support Data analysis, reporting, and documentation Research, process improvement, and problem-solving initiatives Exposure to corporate and support functions Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, business, and leadership teams

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Architectural, Business, Communications, Management, Finance, Construction, or a related field (preferred, not required)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operational and project-based tasks
• Support team members with research, data collection, and documentation
• Help prepare reports, presentations, and internal materials
• Participate in meetings, site visits, and project discussions
• Maintain organized records and files (digital and physical)
• Perform general administrative or technical tasks as assigned
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
