This position will be for a Third Shift Supervisor located in Charlotte, NC.

Requirements

  • AS Degree in a technical or business discipline and 2 plus years experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviors to motivate, engage, and build trust
  • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or related technical field
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts
  • Experience directly supervising a manufacturing operation and personnel
  • Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Supervise manufacturing and associated personnel on 3rd shift for Fabrication areas, Crystal Growth, and Coating, as needed.
  • Drive production priorities while maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing operations
  • Effectively document and communicate production issues/status to first-shift personnel
  • Partner with area supervisors, managers, or other resources to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner
  • Fully understand and properly execute emergency procedures
  • Demonstrate the required leadership behaviors to motivate and engage employees and to build trust and confidence among the management team and peers.
