This position will be for a Third Shift Supervisor located in Charlotte, NC.
Requirements
- AS Degree in a technical or business discipline and 2 plus years experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Demonstrated leadership behaviors to motivate, engage, and build trust
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or related technical field
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Experience directly supervising a manufacturing operation and personnel
- Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Supervise manufacturing and associated personnel on 3rd shift for Fabrication areas, Crystal Growth, and Coating, as needed.
- Drive production priorities while maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing operations
- Effectively document and communicate production issues/status to first-shift personnel
- Partner with area supervisors, managers, or other resources to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner
- Fully understand and properly execute emergency procedures
- Demonstrate the required leadership behaviors to motivate and engage employees and to build trust and confidence among the management team and peers.
