About The Position

As a Night Shift Kitchen Cleaning Technician at Kitchen Guard in Landover, MD, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of commercial kitchens. Requirements

• 1 year of experience in ductwork or related field
• Entry level position
• Ability to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments
• Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs. a minimum of 100 feet
• Able to stand for 10 hours at a time
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work fast and efficiently

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team
• Execute job orders
• Power wash kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans
• Efficiently set up and take down job sites and equipment
• Perform tasks independently without direct supervision
• Maintain and manage equipment, reporting any discrepancies
• Perform minor repairs
• Ensure the safety and efficient installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment
• Conduct service quality inspections
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Participate in ongoing safety training to maintain a high level of awareness and preparedness
• Problem-solve on-site challenges and make recommendations for improvement
• Ensure good customer service
