About The Position

The job profile for this position is Third Party Management Director, which is a Band 5 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. Responsibilities- Accountable for teams of software and technology sourcing associates, and managing vendor issues as they arise within the assigned categories. Minimize risks to Cigna through the company's various software agreements and to reduce costs. Lead teams that negotiate with suppliers, securing competitive prices, resolving issues as they arise, and achieving favorable terms for Cigna. Directly perform negotiations for more complex and strategic work, alongside management responsibilities. Lead the end-to-end sourcing process from requirements to contract execution, analyzing business requirements, and developing and executing sourcing strategy and category plans for assigned business categories in conjunction with stakeholders. Identify and implement process improvements within the software category management team's activities. Continue to direct proactive management and understanding of industry best practices and technology trends, and provide insight to executive management as needed. Drive cost savings through negotiations, competitive bids, and execution of sourcing strategies, and identify, evaluate, and implement the use of diverse suppliers. Manage complex vendor management issues as they arise for software suppliers within the space that do not have dedicated business or vendor managers, collaborating with business stakeholders, category teams, internal stakeholders, and others. Supervise a team of Category Management professionals (currently 10 FTEs). Hybrid work schedule available.

Requirements

  • Requires at least a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of sourcing or third party management experience.
  • Must have experience with: iCertis CLM; Ariba S2C and P2P; ProcessUnity; SOW; MSA; BAA; and, demonstrated expertise with NDA negotiations, Market Research, Category Plan Creation, Executive Communication, and People Management and development.
  • If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
