About The Position

Third Party Risk Operations Function (TPROF) is responsible for supporting the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program by overseeing and managing related activities. This role ensures that TPROF operations align with the latest TPRM program updates, policies, and procedures. The Third Party Management Application & Reporting Supervisor role involves owning and maintaining the Archer TPRM module, including release management, systems integration strategies, supporting execution of system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT). This role will assist to drive the TPRM technology strategy working closely with Subject Matter Experts and the Technology Team, with enablement support from the offshore service provider. Additionally, this role will define TPRM reporting requirements to oversee 1st Line of Defense activities, as well as lead the TPROF strategy for automation initiatives, such as AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3–7+ years of business-side testing experience in financial services or similarly regulated industries.
  • Comprehensive understanding of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (i.e., risk management, vendor management, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, regression, and post‑production validation for multi-system programs.
  • Proficiency with Rally, JIRA (or Azure DevOps), Confluence, and ALM/QC (or equivalent).
  • Ability to solve problems in situations by analyzing viable solutions using experience, judgment, and precedents.
  • Strong skills in deriving test cases from BRDs/FRDs/user stories, and maintaining requirements traceability.
  • Understanding of release/change management (ITIL), CI/CD pipelines, and feature flag/rollback concepts.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, written and verbal, to all levels of the organization.
  • Moderate level of expertise with Excel; Moderate level expertise with Word and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Experience 5+ years specifically in Technology / Third Party Risk role
  • Risk experience within a large financial institution.
  • Experience with RSA Archer application.
  • Extensive knowledge of Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Gathers data from various sources and preparing it for analysis, performing initial data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
  • Partners with Product Owners, Business SMEs, QA/Dev, Release Management, and Vendors to align scope, timelines, and quality.
  • Prepares and publishes reports and dashboards based on stakeholders’ requirements.
  • Checks reports and dashboards for accuracy and adherence to templates prior to publishing it.
  • Participates in requirements walkthroughs and design reviews; raise testability and risk concerns early.
  • Provides hypercare reporting to leadership with metrics, risks, and user feedback.
  • Supports the collection of detailed user requirements, identifying key needs and pain points.
  • Aids SMEs to draft comprehensive requirements documents for senior teammates review.
  • Translates business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.
  • Defines entry/exit criteria for SIT and UAT; ensure test environments, data sets, and interfaces are ready ahead of schedule.
  • Facilitates collaboration between end users and the Technology team.
  • Maintains test documentation in compliance with Truist SDLC/PLC and audit requirements.
  • Leads UAT cycles with business stakeholders: schedule runs, facilitate test execution, track progress, and sign‑off.
  • Creates business-process test scripts that reflect real-world scenarios, including regression and non‑functional checks (usability/operability).
  • Ensures business readiness (procedures, communications, training materials) ahead of deployment.
  • Execute smoke checks and business-critical validations immediately after go‑live to confirm stability and intended outcomes.
  • Identifies and escalates issues according to protocol, ensuring timely communication.
  • Independently logs, tracks, and manages stakeholders’ inquiries with standard prioritization.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves common stakeholders' inquiries using standard procedures.
  • Provides updates and guides users through common inquiry resolutions.
  • Contributes new solutions and updates existing knowledge documents for common issues.
  • Coordinates more complex third party document requests and follow ups.
  • Reviews third party submissions against defined guidelines and interact with third parties as needed.
  • Ensures accurate and detailed record-keeping.
  • Acts as a resource for teammates with less experience.
  • Explains and interprets current TPRM and TPROF framework.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and support adoption of new requirements to strengthen the TPRM Program
