About The Position

Ready to shape great parts and better processes? Do you enjoy dialing in parameters until cavitation is just right? Are you the go-to person for new tool startups and process documentation? If continuous improvement gets you energized, this role puts you at the center of collaboration with supervisors, maintenance, technicians, and external tooling experts. Impact you will make Attack processing issues head-on with the mold department team to stabilize quality and throughput. Lead preventive maintenance efforts to extend tooling life and performance. Partner with outside sources to advance tooling-related processing methods. Audit current injection molding processes and implement optimizations. Lock in best-known methods by documenting standardized, repeatable setups. Maintain cavitation through precise process control. Elevate continuous improvement by assisting action teams and mentoring peers. Commission new tools, then create and maintain robust process sheets. Complete required safety and operator training to uphold safe operations. Flex to business needs with overtime and weekend coverage as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework a plus.
  • Practical understanding of injection molding fundamentals.
  • Physical capability to walk, bend, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Growth mindset and dedication to safety.
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.
  • Technical strengths in: plastic extrusion, injection molding, blow molding, tool/die/mold setup, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
