Works 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer’s product to worktable.
  • Transfer’s product from production line trim press table to the packing worktable.
  • Measures stack length by using the sleeve count and number system for proper packaging.
  • Uses propane torch to burn the rough edges and plastic “hairs” of the product.
  • Uses compressed air hose to remove any remaining melted material from the product.
  • May rotate with packer that transfers to shipping boxes.
  • May be required to train new hires.
  • Transfers product from the packing worktable to the shipping boxes.
  • Uses torch to burn the rough edges and plastic “hairs” of the product.

  • May rotate with packer that transfers product from the trim press table to the packing worktable
  • Form and transfer cardboard shipping boxes, lids and gaylords to the pallet lift.
  • Transfers pallets from stack to the pallet lift.
  • Places plastic bags in the shipping boxes and gaylords.
  • Place lab Calls on intercom for forklift to transfer completed pallets to staging area.
  • May be required to clean work area by sweeping and dusting.
  • May cut the sheets of plates to stop production, under operator supervision.
  • May be required assist operator when the line goes down by cutting & rolling sheets or pulling patties.
  • May be required to clean trim press of excess grease.
