About The Position

Requirements

  • 3+ years of residential solar R&R experience with demonstrated exposure to thermal panel systems
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • General liability insurance, workers' compensation (or valid exemption), and commercial auto insurance
  • Ability to travel to projects throughout the Denver Front Range

Nice To Haves

  • Plumbing or mechanical knowledge related to thermal systems
  • Electrical troubleshooting knowledge for PV systems
  • NABCEP Certification/Colorado Journeyman license

Responsibilities

  • Safely remove and install residential solar PV and thermal panel systems during roof replacement projects
  • Properly drain, disconnect, label, and protect PV modules, thermal collectors, and related components
  • Ensure watertight roof penetrations and proper flashing for both electrical and thermal piping connections
  • Lead and manage crew members to meet daily production, safety, and scheduling requirements
  • Perform final system verification, including PV functionality and thermal system recommissioning, to minimize callbacks
