About The Position

The formulation and system testing technician position requires work in both a chemical laboratory and the thermal media system test lab. Chemical lab work includes handling various solvent and aqueous solutions, dyes and imaging chemicals for the preparation and testing of mixtures required to coat thermal receiver and donor experiments. Once the experiment is coated, system test lab responsibilities include testing for image quality and print performance in Kodak Thermal Photo Printers. The formulation and system testing technician will work with formulation scientists, media integration and manufacturing engineers to complete the experimental work required to develop and commercialize new thermal receiver and donor products or implement improvements to existing products. They are active members of the receiver and donor development teams and work with the formulation and media integration engineers to ensure all product changes are smoothly integrated into the Thermal Photo Printing Systems.
