Requirements

  • A rising junior or rising senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or Environmental Science.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on lab experience with material testing and data documentation.
  • Familiarity with safe chemical handling procedures and lab safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Gain hands-on experience in a lab setting, testing thermal, electrical, and mechanical properties of advanced materials.
  • Support real-world projects focused on thermal management of electronic devices across industries such as data communications, telecommunications, aerospace, and industrial automation.
  • Test new product formulations for our brand Bergquist to validate performance against customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Compile and analyze test data, creating detailed reports and PowerPoint presentations for internal teams and customer engagement.
  • Generate clear, comparative graphs of material properties to support product portfolio evaluations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to troubleshoot and improve testing methods and product performance.
