We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for: The Aero-Thermal Engineering Analyst will be responsible for generating aerodynamic characteristics, aero-thermal heat transfer environments and thermal responses over a wide range of flight conditions, from low speeds up through hypersonic flow fields associated with flight vehicles in the Strategic Missiles Business Line. The position requires some level of expertise in the generation/use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, MATLAB and Ansys Fluent Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD) software tool, as well as an interest in acquiring a working knowledge of Textron Systems legacy aero-thermal computer codes. The analysis techniques used, as well as the compiled results, will be summarized in presentations and detailed design analysis reports.
