Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Entry Level/Associate Thermal Analysis Engineer to support our Thermal Engineering Team in Berkeley, MO. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that provides thermal analysis, testing, & qualification support to a wide array of products including F-15, F/A-18, T-45, JDAM, SLAM, Harpoon, Unmanned Aircraft, and Phantom Works Programs.

  • Conceptual Thermal Design Development
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Level 2: 2+ years of working experience with a Bachelor's OR a Masters degree OR a PhD
  • Experience with Thermal Analysis
  • Experience in Finite Element Thermal software (Thermal Desktop/Sinda Preferred)
  • Experience with 1-D flow analysis using Amesim or Flowmaster
  • Experience with computer programming languages (Fortran, Python, Matlab, C#)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for customer facing role
  • Knowledge of airplane operating environments
  • Familiarity with Military Handbook Climactic Data and Environmental Testing
