About The Position

Performs patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist Assist Therapist as instructed with patient mobility activities and departmental support tasks patient mobility activities include but are not limited to: assisting with gait training, assisting with transfers, assisting with ADLs, assisting with exercises, etc. departmental support tasks include but are not limited to: patient transport, equipment pick-up and delivery, equipment set-up and take-down, wheelchair maintenance, infection control, maintenance of compliance logs, equipment organization, routine cleaning tasks, etc. Demonstrates a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills in order to effectively support the programs and services of MRC

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One year experience as a Therapy Technician in a related health care environment is preferred or experience as a nursing aid or tech will be considered
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
