Therapy Team Lead (PT, OT) - 13 Week Assignment - $70/HR. | Wausau Rehab
About The Position
During this 13-week assignment, a stipend of up to $1,000 is available to help offset travel and participation costs, based on your location and distance from the hospital. We are looking for a Therapy Team Lead to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Requirements
- Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist license in the state where the hospital resides.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical/patient care experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior leadership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development, management, and operation of both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
- Staffing, program development, budget development and monitoring, program evaluation, quality assurance, risk management and marketing support relating to the program.
- Responsible for a defined percentage of patient care on a regular basis.
- Approximately 80% of the time is spent in direct patient care.
