Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of a certified physical therapy technician program or comparable experience
- One (1) year of experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or outpatient setting as a therapy technician
Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting in conducting medically prescribed therapy treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist.
- Provides non-clinical support services to the therapist, including but not limited to maintaining patient treatment areas and basic clerical support.
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
