About The Position

Join a mission-driven team transforming the future of peripheral vascular care. As a Therapy Development Specialist at Endologix, you’ll play a critical role in driving the successful adoption and safe, effective use of Endologix’s peripheral vascular technologies. This position serves as a clinical and technical expert in the field, supporting physicians, clinical staff, and sales teams through case coverage, training, and ongoing education. The TDS ensures optimal therapy utilization by providing real-time procedural guidance, sharing best practices, and reinforcing Endologix’s commitment to positive patient outcomes. In collaboration with the Sales, Clinical, and Marketing teams, the TDS helps identify therapy opportunities, strengthen customer engagement, and expand Endologix’s presence across the vascular and endovascular community. This role requires strong clinical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in dynamic, high-stakes procedural environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or comparable experience.
  • 2+ years of clinical, medical device, or related experience.
  • Relationship Builder: Fosters strong, consistent relationships with physicians and hospital/office staff, becoming a reliable and valued part of the care team.
  • Clinical Expertise: Recognized as a procedural expert and trusted clinical consultant during pre-case planning, throughout the procedure, and during post-case follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert, in-procedure technical guidance to physicians during Detour cases, ensuring every action is guided by patient outcomes.
  • Arrive early, fully prepared, and ready to engage in pre-case strategy discussions, demonstrating integrity and accountability.
  • Provide confident command and control in every procedural environment, taking bold, informed action to ensure a seamless customer and patient experience.
  • Identify appropriate patients, support case planning using imaging (CT, angio, etc.), and maintain strong clinical relationships with physicians and staff, fostering collaboration and trust.
  • Provide dependable support across the territory with a strong commitment to case coverage, reflecting that patients and customers depend on us.
  • Respond to case requests promptly and consistently be viewed as a valued, highly trusted resource by the commercial team through integrity and professionalism.
  • Partner closely with Sales Representatives to drive therapy adoption through: Educational lunches and clinical in-services Staff and office training programs Coordinated regional therapy awareness activities
  • Leverage clinical and marketing tools to educate, engage, and expand therapy utilization, embracing innovation and curiosity to improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of device technology, procedural techniques, tools, and clinical data to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Continuously advance understanding of aortic disease management and EVAR therapy, demonstrating curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to innovation.
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities with accuracy and timeliness, including: Salesforce case documentation and calendar updates Inventory/MOVE usage Training and program requests Complaint reporting Expense reporting
  • Input all case details into Salesforce by close of business daily and respond promptly to email communication, reflecting integrity and accountability.
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Representatives and the Regional Sales Manager to support territory strategy and workload needs, showing that collaboration unites us.

  • Approximately 50% travel required, with readiness to support cases on short notice, demonstrating commitment to patient outcomes and collaboration.
