Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; three years of physical therapy experience within a multi-unit medical facilities practice. Knowledgeable in orthopaedic terminology. basic billing functions, basic clinical functions, administrative practices, operational systems and procedures in medical setting.
  • Physical Therapy Certification
  • American Heart Association's Certification - BLS Certified

Responsibilities

  • Orients new staff and assures that training and education needs of staff are met.
  • Coordinates clinic activities and the work assignments of staff members.
  • Evaluates activities of clinic to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service.
  • Provides occupational and physical therapy services based on licensure.
  • Directs compliance and outcomes data of all patients.
  • Participates in the development and modifications of unit programs.
  • Interprets and enforces department and institution policies.
  • Participates in the development and monitoring of unit budget.
  • Participates in appropriate department committees.
  • Provides occupational therapy services as needed
  • Investigates and resolves complaints, or refers unusual problems to superior.
  • Other duties as assigned.
