About The Position

Seeking a dependable and motivated Rehabilitation Therapy Aide to support our multidisciplinary therapy team in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting. This role plays an important part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by assisting therapists with treatment preparation, maintaining a safe therapy environment, and supporting daily operations. Positive attitude, self-starting initiative, flexibility, and good communication skills a must. We offer a collaborative and supportive team environment. Exposure to PT, OT, and SLP services, ideal for candidates who are pre-therapy schooling. Take part in meaningful work that supports patient recovery and independence. The Therapy Aide/Therapy Tech provides care u nder the direction of a therapist, this position exists to assist patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of requested activities. Prepares and maintains equipment and physical environment for daily activities.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of healthcare experience as a rehab aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• infection control cleaning and maintenance of therapy equipment
• Perform patient related tasks assigned by therapist, including but not limited to: Assist therapists with patient preparation and treatment setup
• Safely transports patients to and from therapy sessions and groups
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy gym and equipment
• Clean and sanitize equipment according to infection control standards
• Monitor therapy areas for safety and report concerns promptly
• Assist with clerical tasks, supply management, and documentation support as needed
• Maintain inventory of therapy equipment and supplies
• Support scheduling coordination and daily workflow needs
• Distributes equipment to new patients according to patient specifications
• Ensures maintenance of cleaning logs and temperature logs
• Participates in facility specific Core Program meetings and demonstrates understanding of patient satisfaction outcome data
• Perform other duties as requested
