About The Position

Adventist HealthCare Outpatient Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Therapy Aide/Patient Access Technician for our Rehab Department, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Therapy Aide/Patient Access Technician, you will: • Facilitates patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means. • Answers phones and performs scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language. • Assists the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed • Maintains the department cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies • Participates in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred Associate degree in a health-related field
  • Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 1-2 years experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare
