About The Position

Centerstone is seeking therapist with experience treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. This is an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team. No weekend or on call work required. Candidate will be in-office Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. Clinician will be responsible for seeing clients in person and via telehealth for sessions.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, Mental Health, or related field is required.
• One year of experience treating individuals with mental health and substance use disorders required.
• Successful applicants must have passed a minimum of 24 graduate level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling or other behavioral health related classes for master's degrees other than Counseling, Social Work or Psychology.

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic rapport with clients - Meet with clients as scheduled to aid in development of therapeutic relationship.
• Formulate a provisional diagnostic assessment based on information presented, identify need for risk assessment (to include substance use assessments).
• Completes documentation within 24 hours.
• Provide assessment services, individual (and possibly family) therapy to those identified with substance use issues.
• Developing, writing, implementing, evaluating and revising overall treatment goals/objectives and plans per ongoing assessment of needs and input from the individual based on their identified strengths.
• Use of empirically based modalities to engage and manage their mental health or substance abuse diagnosis.
• Progress notes completed within current agency guidelines.
• Responds to supervisory request for urgent care situations and coverage for vacant caseloads.
• Keeps administrative supervisor informed of all potential issues that could impact the program or the organization.
