About The Position

Join Embark’s Stabilization and Assessment Program in breathtaking Hurricane, Utah—just minutes from Zion National Park. Our program offers a unique blend of clinical excellence and heartfelt connection in a residential setting that feels like home. We specialize in helping highly acute adolescent boys (ages 12–17) and their families through short-term stabilization and in-depth assessment. Here, you'll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team focused on healing, discovery, and generational change.

Requirements

  • Educational Requirement: Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral science field.
  • Licensure: Preferred—fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC); accepted—associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC).
  • Therapeutic Expertise: Passion for facilitating growth through individual, family, and group therapy using a collaborative, team-based approach.
  • Treatment Planning: Skilled in developing, implementing, and adjusting treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Credentialing Ready: Must have or be willing to establish a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.
  • Compliance: Must pass a state background check and adhere to clinical and ethical standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical Experience: Preferred—2+ years of therapy experience and 1+ year in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Individualized Caseloads: Work with no more than 6 clients, allowing for deeper therapeutic relationships and personalized care.
  • Facilitate Individual, Family, and Group Therapy : Conduct therapy sessions that integrate trauma-informed care and systemic approaches to create meaningful change in families.
  • Evidence-Based Practice: Apply proven modalities like DBT, TF-CBT, ACT, Smart Recovery, and Seeking Safety to support client progress.
  • Client-Centered Care: Tailor individual, group, and family therapy to meet each client’s unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborative Approach: Partner with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists and physicians—for holistic treatment.
  • Culturally Competent: Provide inclusive care with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and cultural dynamics.
  • Clinical Excellence: Maintain compliance through timely documentation, outcome tracking, and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Transformational Impact: Guide students through program completion and discharge, fostering healing and generational change.
