Therapist - Outpatient Behavioral Health ($5,000 sign on bonus)

About The Position

The Community Based Clinician provides individual, family, and group counseling in a community-based setting. Care settings may include jails, hospitals, primary care clinics, schools, clients' homes, and other locations as determined by the agency to best meet the individual needs of each client. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and care coordination with both internal teams and external providers to support comprehensive behavioral health treatment.

Requirements

Master’s degree and a valid Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board license as an LMSW or LSCSW, LPC or LCPC, LMFT or LCMFT, or LMLP or LCP. If equivalently licensed by another state, then KS state license must be obtained prior to employment. May work under a temporary license granted by the appropriate state authority.
Must be at least 21 years of age
Proficient in the English language
Able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
Have completed or is able to complete within the first 90 days of employment Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) training as required by the State of Kansas.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in the use of computers and electronic health record systems.
Required to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), or Substance Use Disorders (SUD) is preferred.
